Dear Mr. /Ms.:

My child like to participate in your competition in the future and want to find a teacher who is interested in training young children virtually until covid 19 pathogens subsides. Do you have any teacher recommendations?

I have 11 years old child, who has been taking piano lessons since 5 years old, would like to start on the competition path.

Enjoy your Weekend!

With much appreciation,
Julie

Hi
How do I know that I will apply Rising Star Category or Professional Category?

Hi Alan Wu, the difference between Rising Star and Professional category is the number of pieces you submit. Rising Star requires to submit two pieces, and Professional requires four pieces.

Dear Sir/Madam,
We are interested in applying for this competition, however, we have a tentative travel plan which will be in the week of July 18th. It seems there will be some overlap with this in-person festival. Is there a way to know the schedule ahead of time? For example, if we can choose to attend on July 16th, it will be most ideal. Thank you very much!

Dear committee, this is Lu Li, violinist. I would like to ask about the category and repertoire. Do instrumental sonatas belong to chamber music category as piano duet? For repertoire of professional level, since you request 4 pieces from 4 period, does it mean the 4 composers who were born in these 4 periods, or their works were written in the 4 periods? For example: Karol Syzmanowski was born in 1882 (romantic period), but one of his works was written in 1904 (modern period, after 1890). I wanna make sure I choose the right composers and works. Thank you very much!

For the 2022 Solo, music competition.
For a solo piano repertoire, do you provide a list or do we choose our music? My daughter is 13, Intermediate division. Please advise. Thank you! -Ricci

Good evening, I just submitted an application for Ethan Zhang (piano solo). I think I accidently chose both both competition and festival. Can someone help me to change it to competition only?

Thank you SO much for your help!

Hello,
I just applied for the competition and got an email regarding paying fees. I looked everywhere on the website but am unable to find how much the fees exactly are. Can I know how much the fees are for this year's contest?
Thank you
