Dear committee, this is Lu Li, violinist. I would like to ask about the category and repertoire. Do instrumental sonatas belong to chamber music category as piano duet? For repertoire of professional level, since you request 4 pieces from 4 period, does it mean the 4 composers who were born in these 4 periods, or their works were written in the 4 periods? For example: Karol Syzmanowski was born in 1882 (romantic period), but one of his works was written in 1904 (modern period, after 1890). I wanna make sure I choose the right composers and works.
