Hi, I have just a couple of questions. Is there an upper age limit for participants? What distinction is there between Rising Star and Professional categories? What length of program are you expecting from the highest division for violin? Would a participant expect to play the entire program for the final? Are accompanists required/provided? Hi Alan Wu, the difference between Rising Star and Professional category is the number of pieces you submit. Rising Star requires to submit two pieces, and Professional requires four pieces.
